Brits Added to UFC 80 Card

When the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the UK, a number of home grown fighter will be on the bill. The Sun newspaper have revealed the names of the British fighters who will enter the octagon at UFC 80: Rapid Fire on January 19th at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena.

London based Jess Liaudin will take on American Marcus Davis in a welterweight encounter. Another welterweight clash will be an all British affair when Walsall's Paul Taylor fights Liverpool's Paul Kelly.

In the heavyweight division, Northern Ireland’s Colin Robinson will be squaring up against Antoni Hardonk in a mouth watering battle. Robinson, from the UFR fight team is a renowned banger. He is no stranger to the North East of England, previously claiming the Strike and Submit and Total Combat heavyweight titles. Robinson, known as the “Big C”, lost in his previous UFC outing. He was beaten by Eddie Sanchez at UFC 72: Victory in Belfast.
