Adam Smith Fails Drug Test

Adam Smith, who lost a decision to Dewey Cooper at Strikeforce’s event at the Playboy Mansion on Saturday, tested positive for cocaine and marijuana, the CSAC confirmed Wednesday. He was fined $1,500 and suspended until June 25, 2008.
Smith was the only fighter of the 24 on the card to test positive for drugs of abuse. All anabolic agent and masking agents test are still pending…
Kazuhiro Nakamura has been suspended after failing a drug test. The California State Athletic Commission have put out a press stating that the Light Heavyweight tested positive for marijuana when tested after UFC 76: Knockout. Nakamura was fined $500 and is barred from fighting until December 21st 2007. |
