Warriors Realm Lightweight Title Match Announced

Gracie Sydney/Double Dragon Team fighter Alex Prates will compete for the WR Australian Lightweight title against the talented up and coming Integrated fighter Korey Gibson on November 9.

This title was previously held by Adrian Pang which he won when he defeated Stuart Nairne way back at Warriors Realm 2 in December 2005.

Pang has stood down as Lightweight Champion to enable this title fight to go ahead (Pang now fights at a lighter weight). Prates is a phenomenal grappler with international BJJ competition credentials. He will he very hard to stop at his new weight of U70kgs.

Gibson although on paper the underdog, is a tough, tough character with powerful standup ability and knowing that he trains under Dan Higgins and the Integrated crew will no doubt have the sklls on the ground to make it a hard day at the office for Prates.
