Art of War 4 Annouces Fight Card

SUN, the company that runs the Art of War Events has announced the lineup of their Art of War 4: Mississippi Mayhem promotion that will take place in the Grand Casino Tunica in Texas, USA.

The co-main events will see two heavyweight battles as Matt Thomas takes on Mike Wessel and Shane Carwin will fight Tex Richards. The Carwin - Richards fight is a bout between two undefeated super heavies, Carwin is a training partner for Ron Waterman and brings a very technical and aggressive wrestling style to the ring. Richards is a former pro American footballer who played for the Indianapolis Colts and is known for the intensity of his standup game.

On the under-card UFC veteran Ron Faircloth brings plenty of experience to his bout against Chris Hawk. This will be Hawk’s first professional fight and it will be something like stepping into a pressure cooker against Faircloth who has had more than thirty fights, 20-12-1, and has been in the ring with Jason Lambert and Wilson Gouveia. The fight will take place at light heavyweight.

Andrew Chappelle faces off against Adriano Pereira, whilst Mark Wiggins will fight Keith Bach. The final bouts on the card are filled will be DJ Watkins vs Kyle Gibbons, David Hulett vs David Brown, and Andy Uhrich vs Chris Gates.

SUN's Vice President of Fighter Relations and Media, Clyde Gentry III, who will oversee all fight cards, stated, "I've been in the MMA Industry for quite a while, and this is the perfect time to jump back in.
