Aleksander Emelianeko to Face Wesley “Cabbage” Correira

Aleksander Emelianenko has signed to fight for the Hardcore Fighting Championships (19 Oct 2007) on their October 19th show in Calgary, Canada.

His opponent will be Wesley "Cabbage" Correira, the MMA veteran who has been on the receiving end in fights with Tim Sylvia, Andrei Arlovski and Eric "Butterbean" Esch, and who has won only once in his last six fights.

Expect to see Aleks older and much coveted (by the UFC) brother Fedor Emelianenko, widely regarded as the number one heavyweight in the world, in his corner for the bout.
