Urijah Faber v Jeff Curran for WEC Belt
Date submitted: 06 September 2007
Author: Mick Bower

World Extreme Cagefighting featherweight champion Urijah Faber will defend his belt against Jeff Curran on December 12th.

Urijah Faber as established himself as one of the stars of the WEC. As the lighter weights receive more attention in the MMA world, he looks destined for big things. The busy Faber has put together a run of eleven straight wins in the last two years. The only defeat on his record came against future UFC star Tyson Griffin.

Jeff Curran is a veteran of the UFC and Pride. In his last fight, he won a unanimous decision over Stephen Ledbetter at World Extreme Cagefighting 29: Condit vs Larson. Curran may well give Urijah Faber his stiffest test so far.
