Kid Yamamoto and Fernandes Square off in K-1 HERO'S on Sept 17th

Yet another BJJ star makes a permanent move to MMA in Gracie Barra's Bibiano Fernandes, who has signed to Fight Entertainment Group (FEG) and joined K-1 HERO'S to face the returning Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto.

Yamamoto known for the power in his hands has faced much tougher opponents on paper, but this is MMA and you never know. K1 and UFC seem to be collecting all the light weight superstars and spliting them down the middle.

Reports state that Fernandes has been training in Vancouver with Bodog and K1 fighter Kultar "Black Mamba" Gill and Pele. This should be a great match and an opportunity for Fernandes 1 - 1 - 0 (Win - Loss - Draw) to make a name for him self if he can pull of a will against Yamamoto who has a 15-1-0 (Win - Loss - Draw) record and is coming off a 12 fight winning streak.
