Alberto Crane Returns to the Octagon

Alberto Crane returns to the Octagon at UFC 74: Respect for the first time since January 2005. The unbeaten fighter has been inspired by the success of his friends Matt Serra and Travis Lutter. He told UFC.com:
“Just seeing them do well made me think what my life would have been like if I had taken that path. It came down to the fact that I didn’t want to have any regrets when I’m older, so I’m gonna do everything I can and enjoy it while I’m still young and can enjoy it. I wasn’t committed before, but now I am. I want to be all I can be, and the UFC has never been better, so I’m really excited”.
Crane will not have an easy night. He will take on rising Lightweight star Roger Huerta, who will be trying for his fourth win this year.
“I think he’s a nice guy, a real tough guy, he has really good stamina and he’s constant on his attack,” said Crane of his opponent. “But I think that there are a lot of holes in his game in all aspects and I think I can take advantage of those weaknesses.” |
