Eddie Alvarez is Ready for Matt Lee at Bodog Fight

Mixed martial arts fighter Eddie Alvarez is ready for revenge.
Saturday, July 14, the explosive welterweight from Philadelphia's Fight Factory will step into the ring at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey to face Boston's Matt Lee in the main event of Bodog Fight: Eddie Alvarez vs Matt Lee.
Lee defeated Alvarez' trainer Stephen Haigh by decision in March of '06. Now, the former Bodog Fight welterweight champion is looking forward to settling the score.
"It's not so much him beating my trainer as much as him beating someone from The Fight Factory," Alvarez said while relaxing in the hotel lobby. "I have a lot of pride in my school. It's something I'm glad to be a part of and I don't like it when guys from the school are beat. For this match, I want to get one back for the team."
"I'm sure he's evolved as a fighter," Alvarez continued. "He's got pretty good boxing. He's well-rounded and really durable. He's hard to finish and that poses a challenge for me because I love to work to finish guys like that. I've been against a lot of guys who've been hard to finish, and I've managed to finish them so it will be a good challenge for me to get in the ring with him and try to take him out. I feel good. Training camp went really well. I feel stronger than ever. I think I'm bigger coming into this fight than I ever have been. I'm ready to go. I can't wait to fight at home again."
