Rumourmill - Andy Foreman Scraps with Darrin Richardson at FX3

The rumourmill is turning! On the Cagewarriors.com forum rumour has it that Andy Foreman got in to a scrap with UK-1 Promoter Darrin Richardson at FX3: Fight Night 5 over the weekend.

Apparantly, it was over Richardson publically slamming the idea of a new format called Cage Boxing - Boxing rules but with 4 oz MMA gloves. Phil "Billy" Harris was supposed to be fighting on the event and Andy's friend was due to promote it. Andy said on Cagewarriors.com recently that he and Darrin should talk about it face to face at FX3: Fight Night 5, where incidentally Richardson was Judging.

This is an eye witness account of what happened, taken from the Cagewarriors.com forum:

"I was standing next to Andy Foreman who was talking to another guy and Darrin Richardson came over and grabbed his arm and said "i want a word with you". Andy Foreman went over to the wall and pinned Darrin up against it and I heard him say "don't start anything in here, its the wrong place". So Darrin says "right lets go outside" so Darrin starts walking out through the doors. Andy Foreman takes his jacket off and starts walking behind him when Darrin all of a sudden stops, turns around and throws a punch at Andy Foreman (very brave) - Andy just stands there and says "you punch like a girl". Andy does a low kick on his leg, Darrin pushes Andy Foreman into some barriers and as he comes forward Andy Foreman does a very nice double leg take down turns gets top mount and headbutts Darrin Richardson and if the six security guys had not had pulled him off im pretty sure that he would of ended up in hospital. Andy Foreman says "we will finish this outside afterwards" and gets Nigel Whitear to tell Darrin that the security guys are going to make a circle for them after the show - but Darrin does not want any of it and sits there all night holding his head - and even gets the medics to come over and put a big plaster on his head."
