Monson Out of Gracie Fighting Championship

Jeff Monson has been forced to pull out of his fight against Brian Vanderwalle at the Gracie Fighting Championships: Evolution The Genesis of Mixed Martial Arts due to injury.
“The Snowman” suffered a separated shoulder in training. The rehab time for such an injury can vary from a couple of weeks to months. A serious separation can require surgery.
Monson is due to challenge Brazilian Jui Jitsu legend, Pedro "The Rock" Rizzo for Rizzo’s IFA World Heavyweight title, in the Main Event at Art of War 3 on Saturday, June 30th at Dallas’ American Airlines Center. |
