Last week we reported that Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, who helped pass a bill to make MMA legal in California, was rumoured to put on his own MMA event.

Schwarzenegger in conjunction with the Gracie family will present “Gracie Fighting Championships”. This confirmed event will take place on March 3rd 2006 in Columbus Ohio.

The theme of the event is Gracie vs Hammer House. The event is unlikely to draw the very top names from each camp but exciting up and coming students are expected.
