UFC 70: Gabriel Gonzaga Knocks Out Mirko Cro Cop
Date submitted: 23 April 2007
Author: Michael David Smith
With one quick high kick, Gabriel Gonzaga knocked out Mirko Filipovic Saturday night, winning the main event at UFC 70: Nations Collide and establishing himself as the top contender for the UFC heavyweight title. The kick was something you have to see.

Cro Cop appeareaed to be unconscious before he even hit the mat. Kudos to the referee for stepping in immediately; Cro Cop could have been badly hurt if Gonzaga had kept hitting him after he hit the floor.
