Sami "The Hun" Berik is regarded by some as UK MMA’s own Genki Sudo, big entrances, huge character and an ultimate entertainer.

Pride FC spotted Sami’s unique unorthodox style and charismatic ring presence back in 2006. Now, nearly six months later, Sami himself announced that he is about to sign a two fight deal with the organisation. This contract will see him taking on Hayato Sakurai at Pride in May.

Sami and his team say they have been working on a few surprises for his upcoming opponent, including secret techniques known as “The Lion’s Roar” and “Thunderpalms from Fatshan”.

Sami’s pre-fight showmanship, never say die attitude and balls to the wall fighting style should make him a big hit in the Land of the Rising Sun.
