Frank Shamrock on Fight Outcome

Frank Shamrock needed close to 48 hours to cool down and realize what happened in the octagon of last Saturday’s Elite XC debut event's last fight. After trying to make the crowd believe that Renzo was overreacting the impact of his two knee strikes to the Brazilian’s back of the neck, the American recognized the strikes were illegal, said he was sorry and assured he is willing to fight again: “I will face Renzo again anytime,” said Shamrock
Renzo, totally recovered form the hits, also commented the outcome of the bout. “If it is a no rules fight, I’m ok with biting even. But I also think that if there are rules, they should value for both fighters.” The Brazilian had his neck and head checked by doctors in local hospital in Southaven, Mississipi. No internal bleeding was detected. |
