UFC 69 Is Coming Together

Despite a loss to Jake O’Brien at UFC: Ultimate Fight Night 9, Heath Herring has confirmed that he will make his second UFC appearance at UFC 69, which will take place on his home turf in Texas.

Herring blamed his disappointing UFC debut on the fact that fought with a torn MCL.

Despite the poor showing, Herring still has a lot to offer the UFC Heavyweight division and has been given the chance to redeem himself, his opponent still TBC.

The rest of the UFC 69 card is slowly falling in to place. At the head of the card will be the Welterweight Title clash between Georges St Pierre and TUF Season 4 winner Matt Serra. Plus, the highly anticipated bout featuring Diego Sanchez and Josh Koscheck.

Pete Sell is back in action after his highlight reel loss to Scott Smith. Sell is due to fight Thalles Leite.

Also expected but not confirmed is Yushin Okami vs Mike Swick.
