Last Minute Changes to Cage Rage 20

Cage Rage 20: Born 2 Fight is ready to rumble at Wembley Arena this weekend but the card has been hit by an uncharacteristic amount of last minute drop-outs. Thankfully Cage Rage has pulled together some great replacements and the card is still solid. Firstly Paul Taylor got the call from UFC – UK and thus relinquished his fight against Marius Zaromskis. Taylor was immediately replaced with “The Bad Man” Damien Riccio leaving a tasty scrap for the Cage Rage 20 fans to enjoy. Then Jeremy "Bad Boy" Bailey sustained an injury during preparations of his fight against Jason "Bad Ass" Barrett. London Shootfighter Jack Toczyelowski has stepped up to the plate in that fight. In another Welterweight under-card bout Michael Johnson has been forced out of his bout with Lee Doski due to a twisted knee. Johnson will be replaced by his team mate Francis Heagney, a dynamic boxer from London Shoot. MMA Weekly are reporting that Zelg Galesic will no longer be fighting Pride gatekeeper Daijiro Matsui due to a fractured rib. Zelg’s replacement will be Cage Rage Contenders fighter Tom "Kong" Watson. If that want enough, word on The Grapevine is that one of the Heavyweight main eventers could also be out! What ever the outcome though Cage Rage have done an excellent job of holding the card together and will still provide another excellent night of entertainment. |
