Sak vs Tamura is off
Date submitted: 16 December 2005
Author: MMA Universe

There are only a few fights left to be officially confirmed for Pride Shockwave 2005. One of those unconfirmed fights, and one that was looking fairly secure was Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Kiyoshi Tamura.

However reports have just come in that the Sakuraba/Tamura fight is now a definite no-go.

Pride’s promotions organisation Dream Stage Entertainment announced that negotiations have fallen through with the Tamura camp and they are looking for a last minute replacement.

DSE stressed that Pride mega-star, Kazushi Sakuraba, will still fight, but the opponent is still TBC.

A further announcement is expected to be made next week.
