The Grapevine: Randy Wants His Belt Back
Date submitted: 10 January 2007
Author: MMA Universe
The Grapevine = MMA Universe’s hotline to the best insider info. Although it is worth noting that the following has not been officially announced yet.

You just kind of knew that Randy Couture wouldn’t stay in retirement for that long, and indeed it would appear that Captain America could be about to make a very welcome return to the Octagon.

Randy Couture historically held both the UFC Heavyweight and Light-Heavyweight Championship Title and it is rumoured that he is coming back to reclaim the Heavyweight Title.

We are not sure yet how much of this is rumour and speculation, but the general feeling seems to be that Randy Couture will come out of retirement to fight Tim Sylvia at UFC 68: The Uprising, scheduled for March 3rd in Columbus Ohio.
