Rumble on the Rock will kick off 2006 with Rumble on the Rock 8: World Championships and their World Championship Grand Prix tournament.

The event, scheduled for January 20th 2006 boasts a seriously stacked 8-Man Grand Prix featuring numerous “Top 10” fighters from around the world:

The confirmed fighters so far are:

Renato Verissimo
Ronald Jhun
Frank Trigg
Carlos Condit
Yushin Okami
Jake Shields
Dave Menne

It was reported today that Pride veteran and Cage Rage Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva has signed to become the final competitor of the tournament.

Official bouts that have been confirmed are:

Mike Malone vs Kengo Ura
Ross Ibanez vs Jason von Flu
