IFL Gets Nevada State Approval

The International Fight League (IFL) has been granted a Nevada State Promoters Licence. Obviously weighing heavily on the minds of the IFL and the NSAC, was the spectre of substance abuse among fighters. IFL Commissioner Kurt Otto said that they would be coming down hard on banned substance abuse in the IFL. It was disclosed that the entire roster for the IFL’s World Team Championships would be tested. The IFL would also be bringing in by-laws to enforce self-policing among fighters that will include heavy financial penalties for anyone caught breaking the rules. No further details were given of exactly when the IFL intends to promote in the State of Nevada but Shamus did let on that Las Vegas would be a pivotal location in the future of the IFL. |
