Smackgirl Goes Full On

Traditionally most Smackgirl fights do not allow punching to the head on the ground and a thirty second time limit is imposed in the ground. However, the Smackgirl Executive Committee have announced that the forthcoming bout between Naoko Ohmuro and Masako Yoshida will be held under full “Professional” MMA rules. Smackgirl’s President “Nagao” explained that after many fan requests, the event was considering having more full rules matches in the future and possibly even making Smackgirl in to a full rules event. Nagao said: "I'd like to expand the number of fighters who can compete under these rules, so far only Yuka Tsuji and Megumi Fuji have experience in them. We'd like to get the OK of more of the top fighters." |
