Sunday 25th of March saw a great night of action.

The New Generation Tournament 2 was honoured by the presence of Enson Inoue and Remco Pardoel who brought with them some of their top students.

Also in attendance were Cage Rage veterans Paul Jenkins and Francesco Ligato.

The evening saw a series of exciting fights with no let up. There was an excellent atmosphere in the packed out Palazzetto di Gaggiano.

In the action, Italy’s top Featherweight Cristian Binda was victorious over Jordy Peute. The fight was very close but Binda took it with his superior stand-up.

Seventeen year old Heavyweight Samuel Piscotta (Ramon’s Brother) made his debut against the more experienced Imad Barakat. It was an incredible fight with five minutes of action. The young man almost clinched the win with a Rear Naked Choke. However Imad showed some great Judo throws and forced an end to the fight between Round 1 and 2.

Bounthuf defeated Frenchman Migniod and Paul Jenkins became an idol in Italy for his showmanship. Jenkins, who had the entire crowd behind him, got a clear second round victory over the solid French fighter, Abou Sow.

Marco Santi demonstrated why he is a rising star when we took the win over Francesco Ligato with an Armbar in the first.

In the main event Pat Ayuyu destroyed Andy Miles from Manchester with punches from side mount.
