What was hyped as a great night of fighting was proved to be just that.  A debut went sour, there was purple hair, and two great knockouts.

Main Card

Round 1 - Franca offers a glove touch, but Fisher denies it as if he doesn't even see it.  Spencer is really pushing the pace and backing Franca up from post to post.  Franca is moving well and swings wildly at any opportunity he feels Spencer has left himself open.  Hermes gets a take down and starts throwing bombs with bad intentions.  Fisher is covering up nicely and just a few get through his blocking.  Franca moves around Fisher's guard well, but Fisher seizes an opening and gets back up.  Franca lands a solid right hand and then takes Fisher down and continues his onslaught from the top position as the round nears an end.

Round 2 - Fisher knocks Franca down and attempts a stomp kick to the body.  Franca pulls out an action movie-like manoeuvre and grabs the leg taking Fisher down in the process.  Hermes pins one of Spencer's arm and lands a few weak shots to his face.  The fight is stood up and then Franca, in a wild flurry, lands a huge right hand and rocks Spencer.  He follows it up with a flying knee and finishes with some hay-makers to Spencer who is unable to defend himself .

Winner: Hermes Franca by TKO in round 2

Heath Herring vs. Jake O’Brien

Round 1 - Heath and O'Brien spend the majority of the round's beginning jabbing loosely.  Herring is in a deep stance with his left arm dropped to his side like James Toney.  O'Brien  is not accepting Herring's offering to engage and sticks to circling the outside.  Heath knocks O'Brien down and just as quick, Jake is on top.  He would stay there and change positions for the remainder of the round.  Herring would get back up, but it was taken right back to the ground by the dominant wrestling ability of O'Brien.

Round 2 - Herring is hungry and desperately trying not to let this fight go back to the ground.  He throws to nice head kicks, but they don't land.  O'Brien takes him down and just has his way with Heath by taking his back then mounting him again.  Herring is up again and Jake takes him back down and shortly after gets his back.  Herring is bloodied up a little bit by O'Brien's short burst of ground and pound.   Heath gets up and takes down O'Brien who reverses yet again.

Round 3 - Herring comes out like a man possessed and rushes O'Brien, but Jake takes him down immediately.  It gets stood back up and then O'Brien takes him down for what seems like the 100Th time.  Herring gets up and then guesses what happens next.  O'Brien almost gets caught in a kimura, but O'Brien escapes.  The fight is stood back up and Herring unloads with everything he has hoping to get a knockout, but O'Brien takes him down again to end the fight.

Winner – Jake O'Brien by unanimous decision (29-28) (30-27) (30-27)

Round 1 – Sean Salmon actually looks like he is more than just a wrestler as he holds his own with Rashad.  In a humorous moment, Salmon does a Karate Kid jump front kick that was a bit lacking on the technical side. They are both circling and jabbing to feel each other out.  Rashad and Sean both connect at the same time with right hands and then tie each other up.  Salmon muscles Rashad down and passes his guard, but Evans gets back to his feet.  Sean lands a big right hand and Rashad misses with a head kick.  Salmon catches a Rashad kick and takes him down.  Evans is up and they trade a few punches to end the round.

Round 2 - Rashad knocks Salmon down with a solid hook and then follows up with some heavy punches.  Rashad unloads again and then blasts, I mean BLASTS Salmon with a vicious head kick that puts his lights out for a long time.  He was still out during the post fight interview.

Winner – Rashad Evans by KO
